Crumb Chasers visits your school on a regular schedule. Parents drop off dirty car seats at our tent on their way in. We clean them onsite and return them at pickup. You offer it, we run it — completely independently of your staff.
For school administrators
Adding Crumb Chasers to your school calendar costs you nothing and takes about five minutes to set up.
Car seat cleaning is a genuine pain point for parents. Offering it signals that your school pays attention to family needs beyond the classroom.
Parents drop off and pick up directly at our staffed tent in the parking lot. Your front desk staff handle nothing — not intake, not returns, not questions.
We carry commercial general liability and completed operations insurance. Certificates of insurance available before our first visit.
You pick the visit days. We work around your calendar, your parking situation, and your school's daily rhythm.
How it works
Parents interact with us directly — not with your staff. We're a presence in your lot, not a burden on your building.
On their way in, parents stop at our clearly marked tent in the parking lot. We tag the seat and get started immediately.
Our van and equipment are right there. We clean, dry in our enclosed drying system, and inspect every seat on the spot.
At afternoon pickup, parents stop at the tent on their way out. Seat is clean, bagged, and tagged — takes thirty seconds.
Pricing
We keep it simple for parents. One service, one price — clearly communicated before every visit.
Your school's Crumb Chasers visit will be announced by the front office a week in advance. You'll receive a booking link to reserve your spot and pay online — $60 per seat, paid at booking. On visit day, stop at our tent on your way in at morning drop-off. Pick up your clean seat at our tent on your way out at afternoon pickup.
Common questions
Do we need to sign a contract?
No long-term commitment required. We ask for a simple one-page letter of agreement covering insurance, lot access, and visit logistics. Most administrators review and sign it in under ten minutes.
Will this affect our morning drop-off traffic flow?
No. Our tent is positioned in the parking lot away from the main entrance and foot traffic lanes. Drop-off at our tent is a quick stop — parents are in and out in under a minute — and it happens parallel to normal drop-off, not across it.
What if a parent's seat is damaged or lost?
Every seat is photographed and tagged at intake. We carry commercial liability insurance and completed operations coverage handles any claims arising from our service. Your school has no exposure.
What types of car seats do you clean?
Infant carriers, convertible seats, and combination booster seats. We follow each manufacturer's published cleaning guidelines. Seats that are expired, cracked, or have been in a prior accident are flagged at intake and returned uncleaned — we explain why to the parent directly at the tent.
How much space do you need?
Three standard parking spaces — one for our van and two for the tent, equipment, and staging area. We position ourselves away from the school entrance so we don't interfere with normal drop-off and pickup foot traffic.
